Rock Church Academy is an exceptional school with a history of high standards and academic excellence. For over 41 years we have helped develop leaders. Many of our alumni today serve in positions of leadership throughout our community: principals, teachers, military officers, business owners, musicians, and more! 

Our school has a record of academic excellence with students testing higher than other comparable academic programs. Rock Church Academy adheres to the tenets of faith of Rock City Church in Baltimore, Maryland.

Our well-rounded instructional approach fosters critical thinking, communication skills, character development, leadership, critical life skills, and STEAM (Science, Technology,  Engineering, Arts, Math). RCA offers not only a rigorous academic program, but a variety of electives and specilaty classes to provide scholars with an outlet to develop and use their unique gifts and talents. 

Our private campus, surrounded by 34 acres of nature, enables us to place an instructional emphasis on the environment and caring for creation.

We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. That's why most of our educators have achieved an advanced degree in their field. Our faculty are passionate about the subjects they teach and bring this enthusiasm into their lessons. Instruction is often delivered in small groups. Our teachers understand the unique learning styles of each student and plan instruction accordingly. 

Rock Church Academy is located on a private, 34-acre campus shared with several non-profit organizations. 

Multiple cameras are stationed throughout the campus to assist our plain-clothed Emergency Response Team Members with campus monitoring. RCA parents are requested to display RCA car magnets and dash cards to help staff easily identify them. Parents and guests are required to display identification until they are known to staff to pick up their scholar. 

Doors remain locked throughout the school day. Parents and guests must be buzzed into the building through our video monitoring system for building access. Emergency Drills are practiced on a routine basis. Parents may opt into a messaging system to communicate with staff and receive school news, weather alerts, urgent messages, and updates. 

Several staff are CPR & First Aid Certified. We also haveCertified Medication Technicians on site.
