Our K2-K4 Preschool Program

Instructional Approach & Curriculum
At Rock Church Academy, we create an engaging and nurturing environment for children ages 2-4 by combining evidence-based teaching practices with a joyful approach to learning. Using the science of reading, our teachers focus on foundational literacy skills such as phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and vocabulary development.
The Abeka Curriculum is used to teach letter recognition, phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension, writing, fine motor skills, and basic number sense. The Abeka curriculum is supplemented with resources from SAVVAS Math (K4) and Generation Genium Science Curriculum.
Teachers share student updates on Class Dojo and send home daily sheets describing your scholar's day! Parents may also use the Class Dojo app to communicate with staff
