Dress Code & Uniforms

Uniform Guidelines

All students must wear uniform clothing beginning the opening day of school. Uniforms are required to be worn while on campus except to change for Gym. (And or designated spirit days or special events or occasions)

Each student will most likely need at least three (3) complete uniforms since they are worn every day.

The school colors for RCA are (blue and gold). The following information should assist you with the purchase of uniforms. “Light blue uniform shirt and a navy-blue bottom.” Students in Grades Kindergarten through 6th must wear light blue RCA shirts. Students in grades Pre-K2 through Pre-K4 may wear either navy or light blue uniform shirts.

For variety you may choose from these:

Girls: All Girls Must wear shorts underneath skirts or jumpers each day

Short sleeve Pique polo shirt (Logo)
Long sleeve pique polo shirt (Logo)
Short-Sleeve Button-Down Blouse (Logo)
Long Sleeve Button-Down Blouse (Logo)
Pleated Navy Blue Skort/ or Skirt
Navy Blue Jumper Dress (Logo)
Navy Blue Flat Front or Pleated Slacks
Navy Blue Chino/ walking Shorts
Black, Navy or White Tights, Stockings, Socks or Knee Highs

Boys:

Short sleeve Pique polo shirt (Logo)
Long sleeve pique polo shirt (Logo)
Short Sleeve Button Down Oxford shirt (Logo)
Long Sleeve Button Down Oxford Shirt (Logo)
Navy Blue Flat Front or Pleated Slacks
Navy Blue Chino/ walking Shorts

Both Boys & Girls

White, Black or Navy Socks
Footwear for boys and girls must be conservative, dress or semi-dress styles; no boots, athletic shoes, or sandals are permitted. (Black Non-Skid Dress/ Casual Shoes (Rubber sole for younger grades)
Navy Blue Uniform Sweaters or Cardigans/ Turtle Necks underneath uniform shirts during Winter.

Physical Education: Navy gym shorts or pants with RCA Logo (no shorter than 3” above the knee), School Logo T-Shirt, white sport socks, and athletic shoes; October through April navy sweat pants and sweat shirts may be used as needed. PE bottoms need to have the RCA logo starting in 2022.

Gym Shirt Sizing Request

Please complete your gym shirt sizing request. So that we may begin to prep shirt orders for the upcoming school year.

During Gym Uniform days, students can wear the following in combination with their school gym shirt:

Navy gym shorts (no shorter than 3” above the knee) with RCA Logo
School Logo T-Shirt
White sport socks
Athletic shoes
October through April navy sweat pants and sweatshirts may be used as needed/ and or modest navy active pants.

Rock Church Academy Spirit Wear & Uniforms

Students will be able to place an order for School Spirit Wear, and Rock Church Academy uniform shirts. Students are required to wear uniform shirts, vests, sweaters, and jumpers that display the RCA logo each day. At least one visible of scholar apparel must bear the RCA Logo. Uniforms can be ordered from www.frenchtoast.com or www.landsend.com. Be sure to shop using the RCA School Code and be sure to include adding the logo to your purchases. We are also using Time Out for Sports in Perry Hall, MD as a vendor to embroider our logo onto your apparel purchased from local retailers.
